So who am I?

My name is Alice and I come from the homeland of pizza (Yes!! ITALY!!), though I prefer to consider myself “a citizen of the world“, as I literally fall in love with any place I happen to go to.
I’m a full-time dreamer who’s constantly fantasizing about where to go next, and, as you might have guessed, my biggest passion is travelling.

Whether it is a journey that brings me to the other side of the globe or a simple local day trip, it doesn’t matter. I just LOVE being out there, discovering new cultures, learning new things, admiring all the breathtaking landscapes that make up our beautiful world.
Because YES, what could a LIFE without a touch of adventure or the thrill of exploring the unknown mean?

A few more things about me!

My story begins when at 10 I became obsessed with languages and travels.
My dream? Travelling from one place to the other, seeing how diverse and intriguing our beautiful world is!

16 years and three study-abroad programs later, here I am pursuing a PhD in Miami (USA), still dreaming of exploring every inch of this earth.
As a result, I take any opportunity I have to travel and go see new places!

Why this blog?

I came up with the idea of writing this blog when, one day, I realized my goal wasn’t just travelling around. When you experience something so beautiful and enriching as a foreign culture you’ve got to share it! It’s not something you just keep for yourself! Especially when out there, there’s plenty of people who’d love to do the same as you, but aren’t lucky enough to afford travelling or have no chance to leave their hometown.

With my blog, I wish to inspire all of you. Inspire you to buy a plane ticket to anywhere and leave if you can do that. Inspire you by bringing the outer world to you.

My motto?

If you are brave enough to pursue your dream, no matter how long it’s going to take, one step at a time, with patience, effort and perseverance, you will fulfil it.

If you can dream it, you can do it.

I’m still far from achieving my dream, but what matters the most is my journey to get to it, and my journey has just begun!!!
